Practice Management on Embodia - Part 3: Billing
The actions described in this lesson require a Manager permission on your clinic.
If you would like to refund a card payment collected via Stripe, you can do so directly from Stripe by following the steps outlined in this guide. Once a refund is initiated in Stripe, it will automatically be reflected on Embodia. You can use Embodia to locate the payment page on Stripe depending on the nature of the payment.
Locating a patient invoice payment
To locate a patient invoice payment, go to My clinic > Billing settings > Payment methods. Click on the payment method that was used to make the payment to view all the payments that have been made with this payment method. Locate the payment, and click on the View on Stripe link. This will open a new tab with a direct link to the payment page on Stripe (you need to be signed in to the correct account on Stripe to view the page).
Locating a package or membership payment
To locate a package or membership payment, go to Billing > My packages & memberships > All payments. Locate the payment, and click on the View on Stripe link. This will open a new tab with a direct link to the payment page on Stripe (you need to be signed in to the correct account on Stripe to view the page).
